The squads are off to Burnaby this morning for their second game of the season. The men are chasing their first point of the season and, after their tie last weekend, the women are hunting for a W. Fergus Hall, the men's captain and defender, was named to the BCPL Match Week One Team of the Week.

Meet Coach Erin Lonsdale

We are thrilled to welcome Erin Lonsdale to our women's coaching team:

I'm incredibly excited to step into this role and work alongside such a driven, talented group of women who bring passion to every session. Even in these early stages, it's been amazing building genuine connections, sharing conversations beyond the field, and learning from both the players and the coaching staff. Coming from a youth background, this opportunity challenges me in the best way and pushes me to grow at a higher level of the game. I was drawn to this team because of its culture, ambition, and the strong sense of community that Nanaimo United offers. So far, it's been inspiring, energizing, and a reminder of why I love being part of this sport.

The best way to follow the game live? The PSLC MatchDay app. The women kick off at 1 PM and the men at 3:30 PM at Burnaby Lake West.
